Just picked up my 870 xcs 3.5" mag. So far very nice. The brl has a middle bead and green fiber optic front bead. The fit and finish are very nice and the action was super slick and tight. Can't wait to pattern this gun. However the speed-feed 1 stock will not accomadate 3.5" mags, a mistake on a gun chamberd for 3.5" shells.

shooters, I live in North Dakota where it can drop to -60 at the drop of the hat. the last thing i want to worry about is my shotgun feezing up. i have shot many different shoguns over my life time and am not particual to sticking to one brand name.
i have a tactical mossberg 500 for the house]which i love very much[and a remmington 870 for the field.
i have always relied one the 870 out in the field i will post my review as soon as i shoot my first goose of this year
