I have put about 2,000 rounds through a 12 Ga. since Sept. all sporting clays. The only problem I had was the ejector locking up after the first 200 rounds. I very softly took the spent shells out as they were stuck with the ejector and then cleaned and worked a light grease with teflon in to all moving and contact points on the block and receiver. It has worked great since. I always make sure to check the break lever is to the right before I shut the barrels and break it all the way to reset the firing pins. It shoot well and in the first sporting clay event I ever participated in I was in the middle of the pack competing agaist a lot of high priced guns. The Silver Reserve is not a tank so if you treat it with respect it should fit the bill and it looks feels great to.
